Saturday, July 18th - 12-3pm

Event Set Up – Asbury Church CLC

Wednesday, July 22nd - 6:30-9pm

Widow Events – Asbury Church CLC

Thursday, July 23rd

Lunch Volunteers – 10:30am – 1:30pm

Dinner Volunteers – 5:00pm – 8:00pm 

 

All volunteer opportunities are located in the Community Life Center (CLC) at Asbury Church.

Email Volunteer@balconywomen.com to sign up to volunteer.  Our events have grown and so has the need for volunteers.  We are planning to host 660 widows.  If you have friends who would like to volunteer, please invite them to join us!

The church has asked that anyone choosing to working in the kitchen to go online and take the FREE volunteer food handler’s test.  The test takes about 15 minutes.  They will give you some information then you answer a few questions about the information presented.  They will ask you where you plan to volunteer.

Upon completion of the course, you will be able to print your volunteer permit. The volunteer permit must be available whenever working in volunteer capacity. There is no cost to complete THD’s online volunteer training. Please check out the study guides if needed.

We are recruiting volunteers for our Widow Dinners! 

We host 660 widows twice a year for lunch, dinner, inspiration, and community. We need volunteers to help with prep work, set up, and the event. High school students can earn volunteer hours. Click here to be added to our volunteer email list.  Volunteer needs will be emailed prior to each event.
